Jemar is the Executive Assistant for Vince Smith and Administrator for the CBA Church Network. Her focus areas include: supporting the Executive Director in driving the development of CBA’s vision, strategy and long-term strategic priorities; managing the day-to-day operations of the organization including calendar and event updates; and bookkeeping and accounting management.
Prior to joining CBA Church Network, Jemar worked at Victim Relief Ministries (VRM) as its Business Development Director where she coordinated fundraising initiatives for disasters; and developed new plans and initiatives for the organization.
Before VRM, Jemar worked as a Business Development Manager at Nissan of McKinney, a Berkshire Hathaway Automotive Group. At Nissan, Jemar was responsible for driving client traffic into the dealership, as well as collaborating with management and its sales team to maximize sales opportunities.
Previously, Jemar was the COO for Aviatour, Inc. where was responsible for managing the daily business operations of its three locations (Texas, California, Philippines). While in Aviatour, Jemar was also responsible for sourcing clients from more than 30 countries by developing alliances with other Aviation businesses.
Before joining Aviatour, Jemar was a Senior Consultant at Texas-based Electronic Data Systems (now HP). In her role, she analyzed, evaluated and supported multiple mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. She also analyzed and evaluated several organizational redesign initiatives.
Jemar earned her MBA from the University of Texas in Dallas in 2007. She also has a Graduate Finance Certificate from the Southern Methodist University; and a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications degree in Ambassador University. Jemar also intends to pursue her Masters in Counseling Psychology in the next couple of years.
Jemar is originally from Cebu, Philippines. Nowadays she calls Collin County home. When she was a child, she never thought that will finish her education here in the US, work here, or have the capacity to travel internationally. However, she is a firm believer that God has a divine plan and purpose for our life; and she credits her parents for introducing her to Jesus.
Jemar is also an active volunteer disaster relief worker. She believes that volunteers play an integral role in disaster recovery efforts — to give survivors hope, to make a difference, and to shine the light on Jesus.
Jemar is a member of Prestonwood Plano. In her spare time, she loves spending time with family and friends. She enjoys reading, painting, watching movies, going to the symphony, traveling, and most of all taking walks with her two dogs, Ava and Drew.
